SEWA SENI is a special package that rents art to individuals and businesses in Malaysia on short or long leases. We also offer a change of artworks every 4 months if you ride on a year long contract. Perfect if you are presenting your home for sale, decorating your work place may it be your average office, a café cum restaurant, a shopping mall or just spoiling yourself for a while. Our monthly payment plans make managing your cash flow easy. You can rent a RM$1000 painting for as low RM$65 @ month. We also provide the option of purchasing the paintings if the need arises with a very good discount. This not only gives your establishment an edge against the competition but also an avenue for extra revenue when the painting is sold to a customer of yours.
Getting started:
Come visit us at our gallery located along Jalan Gasing, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Browse through the collection until you find perfect artworks. If an artwork is available for rent, consult our person in charge and the paintings chosen can be on your wall within a week. Not to worry about installation and so forth as we have with us skilled installers and transporters. You can also ask for a cd to view our paintings. We also offer a very large range of prices, outlook and prices to suite your each and every need, deco and budget.
We shall e-mail you a rental agreement which lists the title of the artworks, the value of the artworks, the cost of rental per artwork for the rental period and the costs of any freight or installation of the artworks. You must then return back the signed and completed rental agreement. This will include copies and details of a current mykad (locals) or passport (foreigners). These details act as security for us and the artist.
You are responsible for the artworks during the rental period. We recommend that you add the artworks to your current home or business insurance policy.
Charges:
To make it easier, we charge rental as a percentage of the value of the artwork. That way you can work out how much your rental will cost when you are making the selection of artworks. You can rent your artwork for as short period like just for an event with a minimum of rm70.
Payment is due in full before the artworks are delivered. Payment can be in the form of cheque, cash or equivalent. Funds must be cleared before artworks are delivered.
When your artwork arrives you will find an inspection checklist that has been completed by us. This just documents the condition of the artwork for you. Fill out your section and send it to us within a week of receipt of the artworks. If you disagreed with anything on the checklist, let us know immediately. WLFA will arrange the delivery of your artwork.
You will be invoiced for the delivery and return freight. All artworks are ready to be hung. You are responsible for the hangings of artworks.
End of the hire period:
We will contact you a week before your hire period finishes to see if you want to extend your rental agreement. In most cases, for long term contracts the duration is for one year of rental and we would change the set of paintings with new sets every 4 months. If the artwork is available for lease after the hired period, we will send you another rental agreement to cover the new rental period.
It is your responsibility to return the artworks to us on time. We can organize this for you using our in house carriers or external parties.
Purchasing during rental period:
If you would like to buy any of the artworks you have rented, you can do so with a generous discount. We will discount the value of the first 3 months rental on that artwork. So in effect, you will have rented that artwork for 3 months for free. Otherwise, please do contact us.
So how much does it cost to rent an artwork?
We make it easy for you to work out how much any artwork exhibited will cost you. The longer the rental contract, the cheaper it is per month. All prices are calculated as a percentage of the sale price of the artwork. If you’d like a large number of works, we will negotiate a special deal for you.
